1991 - 2018
In April 1991 we became a Citroen new car franchise dealer, selling, new cars, vans & used cars.
This was a large leap into the new car & van market, as Citroen was considerably more established than our predecessor. Within the first week, we launched the amazing Citroen ZX model.
It was a runaway success for both Citroen & Avalon and we were proud to retaine the Franchise for over 25 years selling hundreds of Citroen product vehicles.
1987 - 1991
In 1989 we obtained our first new car franchise SEAT! Alongside the arrival of our first new car franchise, we also built our own Mercedes recovery truck which operated a 24 hr recovery service.
1989 was a very exciting year as following our initial company venture in 1986 we rapidly outgrew our Wells Rd premises. This also led us to build a new accident repair centre in addition to our new franchise.
1987 saw the arrival of our accident repair centre. It was purpose-built to accommodate the demand on our aftersales.
Cars need to meet minimum emission standards when travelling in the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) or the daily charge must be paid.

The ULEZ will be enforced based on the declared emissions of the vehicle rather than the age. However:
Petrol cars that meet the ULEZ standards are generally those registered with the DVLA after 2005, although cars that meet the standards have been available since 2001
Diesel cars that meet the standards are generally those registered with the DVLA after September 2015
